Mimo Krouzian was born in May 1947 to Armenian parents. As a child he was exposed to the fine arts through his father. He would take the easel, canvas and paints and go out to the beautiful beaches and mountains with his family to spend the weekends.

As Mimo grew up, he found an artistic outlet in music and was a singer/songwriter in a very successful local band for many years. All the different careers throughout his adult life involved creativity in one form or another, be it as silk screener, owner of his own PR firm designing commercial campaigns for American companies in the Middle East, or as a cameraman in a pre-production house for fine art.

In the Summer of 2003 he decided to pick up the brush himself. An amazing explosion of colors and shapes evolved. As a self-taught artist Mimo experiments with acrylic paints on canvas or parchment and uses brushes, sponges and paint knives to achieve his unique style.

Today the artist lives with his family in Bellingham WA , where he recently moved from the San Fernando Valley in California.
