For over a decade, Don was a seasoned artisan in wildlife wood carvings. Then copper repoussé caught his attention. Originally dating from the Middle Ages, repoussé is the shaping of a design in relief on metal. Don's years of experimentation with different patinas, lacquers and metals has created his trademark process of copper repoussé wall art. Due to the process itself, each recreated piece takes on its own character and physical attributes, making it one of a kind.
